So after being hounded by my lovely daughter, I decided to try my hand at Call of Duty on the Xbox. How hard could it be; I mean after all, I hold my own at the games on our Wii and did pretty well on our old PlayStation. How hard could it be on the Xbox? Well... can you see the frustration on my face? I kept uttering things like: "My stupid guy won't run? or Why isn't my gun freaking firing? or Why do I keep getting stuck in the freaking corner?" All the while, my daughter kept answering: "Mom, hold the button down. or Mom, the other button! or MOTHER, move the other button!" After about 15 minutes, I gave up. But not before I figured out how to fire my gun and got the enemy. After that, I waved the white flag and realized I am too old for this. COD is not for the over 40 set with limited patience. Give me my Wii remote and a nice game of bowling.
